Atlas Farm is a family farm located in Deerfield,
MA. We grow 20 acres of certified organic vegetables and flowers and
sell at farmers' markets and wholesale outlets. Applicants should be
hard working, reliable, self-motivated, have a valid driver‚s license
and their own transportation. Applicants should have the desire to
work outside even in adverse weather and be able to work early in the
morning.
Field Crew Leader (April through November). We are looking for
someone with at least 2 seasons of farm experience to lead the field
crew in harvesting and field work. Training by the farm manager will
be provided. We also seek full time field workers (May through
October) to assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting and
wholesale deliveries. Previous farm and delivery experience preferred
but not required. We would also consider hiring someone who is just

The Amherst Farmers Market manager is responsible
for the daily operations of the AFM on Saturdays beginning the first
weekend in May through the third weekend in November. Attendance at
market meetings prior to market opening is required. The job requires
personal confidence and the ability to communicate with a variety of
people. The AFM relies on the market manager to be its liaison with
all parties served by the market, helping promote the market and
keeping accurate weekly records of market activities. The manager
will also lead efforts to bring educational programming, music, and
other events to the market on a regular basis.
This is a part-time hourly position and requires managing market
operations for 8-9.5 hours on Saturday, plus an additional 2-3 hours
per week on non-market days. Compensation is $12-$14 per hour based

Waltham Fields Community Farm seeks 2 field
workers for half-time positions beginning in mid- to late- June and

Kinder dairy goats are a West Coast breed that are
great for a family goat. They are 2/3 size of standard goat with

positions for our 2008 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
Responsibilities:
Two volunteers will divide the responsibilities and time investment
for this position. They will help out with all aspects of the CSA
distribution every Tuesday from July 1 - October 29, from 2:30-7pm,

The Youth Horticulture Project (YHP) is a program
of University of Vermont Extension in Brattleboro that helps youth
experience success while they develop job and life skills through the
growing, harvesting and marketing of vegetable crops. Programs include
a farm-based job training program for teenagers, a mentoring program
and school partnerships. This position oversees the farm and youth
programs at the educational farm in Brattleboro and supervises the
AmeriCorps member and interns that work in the program. This includes
planning and implementing YHP programs, working with youth and
completing farm tasks. The position also supports the expansion of
statewide gardening programs.

The Youth Horticulture Project (YHP), a program of
University of Vermont Extension, offers two crew leader internships
working with youth and learning about organic gardening/farming.
Programs take place on our 1 acre farm in Brattleboro, VT, and
provide the opportunity for youth to develop life and job skills.
Each Crew Leader intern will work with a crew of approximately 6
youth to maintain the farm, work at the local Farmers' Market,
facilitate workshops for youth, and supervise community service work,
as well as work on farm-based projects. Interns are expected to have

ability to work as a member of a team. Internships typically run from
early June to the end of August, approximately 23 hours per week. A
