Check out all these great events where NOFA/Mass will be tabling at to grow the organic movement. Some you may already have on your radar, others you’ll be happy to hear about. If you go to any of these events, please stop by our table to say “hi” and pick up some literature. August 10-12, 2018: NOFA Summer Conference!, Amherst, MA

You’re already planning to go this 3 day celebration of the organic movement, right?

September 15-16, 2018: Pete & Gerry’s Festival at the Farm, Canton MA

“Festival at the Farm is the small-sized music festival that you have been waiting for. Spend the last days of summer enjoying live music with the picturesque Blue Hills as the backdrop. The farm provides plenty of elbow room, a huge dance floor and a sprawling lawn. Connect with folks. Bring the kids.” Headliners: Amos Lee, Dawes, Trampled by Turtles and Martin Sexton.

September 16, 2018: 4th Annual Berkshire Ferment Fest!, Great Barrington, MA

“The Berkshire Fermentation Festival is day long celebration of the diversity of all things fermented and crafted. Each year there is an array of local cultured food vendors sampling and selling their products along with demos, lectures, a culture swap, science corner, book signings, raffle, live music, and more.” Also: Fermentation Revivalist Sandor Katz recently added to the line-up!

September 29-30, 2018: 20th Annual North Quabbin Garlic & Arts Festival, Orange, MA

Still Stinkin’ After All These Years!... The 20th Annual Garlic and Arts Festival will be held on September 29 and 30, 2018 in Orange, Massachusetts. Celebrating 20 Years of Peace, Love, and Garlic!”

October 24-26, 2018: Where Women Gather: A Celebration of Women in Agriculture Conference and Symposium, New Haven, CT

“Women make up one of the fastest growing segments of new farmers today and we come from a long and deep history and tradition of cultivating the soil. This fresh crop of women farmers today find innovative ways to champion local agriculture and foster greater collaboration and cooperation, all based on an intentional intersectionality: we are all connected… Come celebrate the historic roots and inspiring stories of women farmers today — and in the future.”
