• Collaborate with our lead wash+pack person to coordinate vegetable washing and post-harvest organization
• Lead the organization and boxing of 150-175 boxes per week for our off-site distributions
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently and be highly organized
• Find joy in creating efficient systems
• Willingness to harvest with us one or two mornings a week + do some afternoon farm tasks is a plus!
• Willingness and ability to manage a small crew of team members or volunteers to help with boxing
Land's Sake is looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Farm Manager. Reporting to our Executive Director, the Farm Manager (FM) will oversee and run all day-to-day farming and forestry operations. The FM will possess strong experience and knowledge of ecological, sustainable, year-round produce production, experience managing a team of farm workers, a demonstrated aptitude to engage and cultivate new relationships within our community, and a strong, self-motivated work ethic.
Gaining Ground is a 3 acre non-profit, no-till, organic farm in Concord, MA that grows produce for 13 hunger relief organizations alongside community volunteers. Gaining Ground uses regenerative practices centering around soil health and fertility and creating diversity on the farm. We are hiring 2 additional field crew members for the 2020 growing season, May through September (start and end dates flexible).
Kroka Expeditions is seeking a farmer to join our dynamic team. Our diversified farm is comprised of 30 acres of pasture, hay fields and gardens amidst a beautiful 100-acre campus. Livestock includes dairy cows, laying hens, and a draft horse. Our gardens produce a variety of greens, root crops, fruits, and berries to feed 1,000 students who join Kroka’s programs annually. The farm is managed by two full-time farmers and aided by apprentices, staff, and students.

Three Sisters Garden Project is a non-profit organization and community farm with a mission to increase access to local, fresh, and healthy food for everyone in our community. We use organic farming practices (but are not certified) to grow a wide variety of vegetables on 4 acres for our 150-member CSA, restaurant sales and our food access program, which includes subsidized shares and donations to local food pantries. Enthusiastic crew members sought for established Organic Land Care business serving the Rt. 2 corridor from Harvard to Lincoln. Full or part-time positions open. Season to start in early April and run through November. Horticultural knowledge, ability to lift 50 lbs easily, and common sense required. Please submit resume.

We're hiring part-time field crew members. This position is perfect for someone with an interest in sustainable agriculture. Farming experience not required, but we need folks with a strong work ethic that are ready to work outside in all sorts of conditions. It is hard work, but so rewarding!
