Production Manager Wanted

Eva’s Garden, located in coastal southeastern Massachusetts (South Dartmouth), is looking for a Production Manager to coordinate the production of greens, herbs, and microgreens. Eva's Garden is a 2+ acre, certified organic farm that has supplied chefs in Boston and Providence, as well as Whole Foods Markets, for over 30 years. The farm has been featured in “Yankee” magazine, PBS and “Chronicle.” The book “Wild Flavors” by Didi Emmons, published in 2012, was written about this farm.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and tracking farm production, in collaboration with the farm owner and farm manager- from ordering seed to growing and harvesting. The Production Manager is also expected to supervise an assistant and seasonal crew and coordinate weekend watering duties with others. Thorough record keeping and organizational skills are a must.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience in organic farming (or equivalent), with strong organizational, communication, management and business skills. Knowledge of growing greens, microgreens and herbs a plus. Work is year-round with season extension greenhouse production in the winter. Pay will be competitive and based on experience, productivity, and reliability. Please send a cover letter and resume to info@evasgreengarden.com
