FSNE: 21-Day Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge
April 4 - April 24| Free
A self-guided learning journey for individuals and groups for examining the history and impacts of racism and inequities and how they are connected to our food system. The Challenge is updated every year with new daily prompts, resources, and inspirational examples of dismantling racism and inequities in ourselves, our communities, and our culture. FAQs on this page.
April 4 to April 24th, 2022
While the Challenge started in 2015 as a capacity-building project of the Food Solutions New England network for food system colleagues around our region to center its racial equity commitment, the Challenge has grown to nationwide (and some international) participation. People from all parts of the food system participate, representing people of many different racial and gender identities, age groups, and interests. Several thousand people register for the Challenge each year and a participatory planning team coordinated by FSNE updates the materials annually, making improvements or adjustments based on each year’s program evaluations and feedback.
