The Massachusetts Farm & Sea to School Conference will take place from May 16 – May 21, 2022. The conference will be centered on youth leadership and empowerment in the farm to school movement and will bring together farm to school advocates – food service professionals, students, educators, policy makers, public health advocates, community organizers, and more – for a week of virtual workshops and in-person field trips. The workshops will provide all attendees with concrete skills or actionable takeaways and confidence to make a change in their schools and communities.

The conference’s keynote speaker is Vanessa Garcia Polanco, Policy Campaigns Co-Director at the National Young Farmers Coalition, who co-designs the strategy and implementation of Young Farmers’ policy campaigns, ensuring we are pursuing and advocating for equity-driven, farmer-centric research, policy, and programmatic interventions.

Registration for the virtual workshops and in-person field trips is separate – make sure to register for both the week-long virtual conference, as well as any in-person field trips you want to attend.

The Mass. Farm & Sea to School Conference (both virtual & in-person elements) is offered free of charge.
