Plant nutrition, personal health and soil restoration take a front seat at this year’s annual NOFA/Mass Winter Conference as we explore the theme Food As Medicine on January 12, 2019.

We will dig into the deep knowledge and experience of the amazing community of NOFA farmers, gardeners, foodies and health practitioners with three all-day intensives, 60+ workshops and 70 experienced and knowledgeable exhibitors.

This year’s Winter Conference unifies our community with connection and camaraderie, carrying on the tradition of sharing experience, enthusiasm and passion for good food, good soil and good health.

Your registration gives you access to 70+ presenters and workshops, our amazing Trade Show of organic lifestyle vendors, a youth conference, the Farmers’ Marketplace, Job Fair, Meetups, Seed Swap, Live Music and more. Keynote Speaker
To our keynote stage, we bring the founder of Advancing Eco Agriculture (AEA) and host of the Regenerative Agriculture podcast, John Kempf. John speaks in clear, practical language about scientific understandings of plant ecosystems and how the health of people is connected to healthy land and quality produce. John lectures internationally and is considered a leading expert in the field of regenerative farming. Learn more about John here.

Breakfast will be available for purchase in the Student Center Cafe from 7-11am.

Coffee, Tea, breakfast sandwiches made to order, yogurt parfait, granola bars and others.

Lunch is included in your registration.
Complimentary coffee will be served in the Student Center after 2pm.

Winter Conference Dinner
Come relax after a full day of learning, network with like-minded people and enjoy a local and organic meal prepared for you by the chefs at Worcester State University.  Scott and Erica Muhammed, Co-Directors of SEED (Students for Education and Economic Development) from Tuskegee, Alabama, will provide a keynote address at 6pm on January 12, 2019.

Trade Show
Shop over 70 vendors and exhibitors at our annual Trade Show to learn, discover and connect with suppliers and craftspeople purveying organic lifestyle and gardening products. If you are interested in vending at the conference you can learn more here.

Intensive Seminars

Youth Conference and Teens
Our vibrant children’s conference provides a full day’s worth of high quality fun and education for your little ones. With our hands-on activities, games and age appropriate workshops with friendly farm educators your child will be entertained and educated while you do the same!

The affordable registration price of $10 per child or Teen includes the amazing organic catered lunch. Teens are welcome to attend adult workshops and enjoy other conference activities.
