Please join us Tuesday, November 28th, at 7pm, as we welcome Maya Dutta to present on miyawaki forests! Maya is an environmental advocate and ecosystem restorer working to spread understanding on the key role of biodiversity in shaping the climate and the water, carbon, nutrient and energy cycles we rely on. She is passionate about climate change adaptation and mitigation and the ways that community-led ecosystem restoration can fight global climate change while improving the livelihood and equity of human communities.

The seed swap at this year’s Winter Conference is facilitated by members of the Northeast Organic Seed Network which is simply a network of folks across New England, Southeastern Canada, New York, and the northern mid-Atlantic who share a passion and dedication to growing, adapting, preserving and sharing seeds! We hope to inspire you to join in on the exciting and important work of growing seeds which will ultimately strengthen our regional food systems with locally adapted seeds that will perform better in our environment!
