Dear NOFA community,
As the growing season unfolds, and another summer approaches, we turn again to the Summer Conference, a long standing tradition of the NOFA chapters.
Unlike the Winter Conferences each chapter hosts, the NOFA Summer Conference is an event steered by the connecting body that combines all NOFA Chapters: the NOFA Interstate Council. For many years, the Summer Conference has been hosted by NOFA/Mass.
It has been a challenging year – threats to funding have put a lot of strain on our organization’s capacity, resulting in reduction of staff size, and difficulties funding some of our longstanding programs. Our team has concluded that a 2025 Summer Conference is currently beyond our capacity.
As we look towards future seasons, our hope is to collectively reimagine this Conference in partnership with the NOFA Interstate Council so we can continue coming together to celebrate organic agriculture with growers across New England.
We remain committed to providing quality events and programs to the broader community, including the NOFA/Mass Winter Conference in 2026! We also encourage you to attend our 20+ in-person education events this growing season.
