NOFA Summer Conference

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 20, 2025

NOFA Summer Conference Update

Dear NOFA community,

It has been a challenging year – threats to funding have put a lot of strain on our organization’s capacity, resulting in reduction of staff size, and difficulties funding some of our longstanding programs. Our team has concluded that a 2025 Summer Conference is currently beyond our capacity.

We remain committed to providing quality events and programs to the broader community, including the NOFA/Mass Winter Conference in 2026! We also encourage you to attend our 20+ in-person education events this growing season. Keep in touch by subscribing to our newsletters, Explore our wealth of videos from previous conferences, and don’t forget to join or renew your 2025 Membership!

NOFA is a non-profit organization of over 5,000 small-scale farmers, gardeners, consumers and food system reformers.

We promote healthy food, organic regenerative farming practices, and climate disruption solutions through soil management strategies.

The theme of the Summer Conference was
Buen Vivir : Celebrating Harmony with Nature and our Communities

Buen Vivir is a contemporary philosophy rooted in Indigenous Andean traditions of collective care, land stewardship and harmonious co-existence.

Spend the week engaging with farming technologies, practices and thoughts around good, vital and just living for all, at the community scale!
