Refund and Weather Policy

UPDATE 3/18/20: COVID protocol: Until further notice NOFA/Mass will allow refunds on any educational event if an attendee decides not to attend out of concern for contracting or spreading COVID-19. However, NOFA/Mass is a small, lean organization that depends on our education events income to support our non-income generating work such as our policy work, food access programs, and public soil health education work. We would be grateful for your consideration of making your registration fee a donation if you choose not to attend an event that you have registered and paid for. We could also offer you a credit to attend a future event anytime in the next year in lieu of a refund.

Refund policy:

Refunds are given until 10 days prior to an event minus 15% processing fee.  No refunds are provided within 10 days of event. However, transfer of registration fees (minus the 15% processing fee) to another NOFA/Mass event may be available.

Inclement Weather Policy:
In the event of inclement weather, NOFA/Mass may cancel or reschedule this event.  This inclement weather decision will be made at least 24 hrs before this event and will be communicated to all registered attendees.  If this event is canceled, all registered attendees at the time of cancellation will receive a 100% refund.  If this event is rescheduled, all registered attendees at the time of rescheduling will be given the option of a 100% refund or attendance on the new event date.

Please note: In all cases of inclement weather and severe driving conditions, NOFA/Mass event attendees and community should exercise due caution and make the final determination as to whether they feel it is safe to travel in these conditions
