It’s the season of lambs emerging and onion sets growing taller! Farmers are getting fields ready and now face particular challenges at the beginning of the growing season, when necessary purchases precede harvests. As so many of the programs that farmers & communities rely on are gutted, suspended, or canceled, the sense of uncertainty runs much deeper this year. Luckily, spring, in all its renewal, offers ways for each of us to truly make a difference.

You can provide support by purchasing directly from farms. While you’re there, join a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm share, organize a protest, and find out from growers and other neighbors how to get more involved in your community this season!
