     This is an ideal position for someone with retail and produce experience looking to take on a management role at a  mission-driven family farm. Fishkill Farms sends homegrown vegetables, fruit,  cider, eggs, jams and other jarred goods, frozen produce, and flowers to five  local and NYC markets at different points throughout the year. The manager  will act as a liaison between the farm’s different production areas (fruit/vegetable/egg/etc.) as they come together for market, and ensure that high standards are consistently met, and attend at least one market per week.

    May to end of harvest (August), or longer.
    Help with anything needed on the farm – weeding, laying weed mats, mowing, picking, sorting, pruning, planting, farmers market, deliveries, etc.
    40 hour week, depending on weather and harvest (July-August).  Days off to be worked out with field manager.
