Climate Change: Simple, Serious, Solvable, a talk by meteorologist Harvey Leonard will take place at First Parish Church on Tuesday, January 23 at 3 P.M.
Join Harvey Leonard for a talk about Climate Change: what is causing it, why it is serious, and what can be done as we look toward the future. He will also explain the important difference between weather and climate. A Q&A will follow his presentation.
Harvey will first discuss the important difference between weather and climate. He will then explain how climate change is simple, but real, and why it is serious. Finally, he will discuss how we can mitigate or solve some of the problems that climate change causes. Q&A after the presentation (no time limit).  Questions can be about the presentation or anything else related to meteorology or Harvey’s career. Often, questions about his career lead to humorous stories!
