Join for as little as $10/ year : if you’re able to give more, this foundational support is essential to the daily operations of all our programs.
We welcome one-time or monthly donations.
Monthly donations give NOFA/Mass a stable, dependable source of funds to build and maintain the local organic and regenerative movement: through programs in education, policy, food access, carbon farming, soil testing, technical assistance, and more.
Recurring monthly donations help us to reduce our fundraising costs, and these donations can be cancelled anytime by contacting [email protected].
All contributions help us move towards our shared vision of people working together towards supporting farmers and food systems workers, and to increase food access, racial equity, soil health, and environmental justice.
Member Benefits
All members receive
- A one-year subscription to the NOFA quarterly newspaper, The Natural Farmer, with articles of interest for growers across the region, mailed to members directly
- 25% off all NOFA/Mass Soil Health services, plus an additional 10% discount when you purchase two or more soil services at once.
- A 10% discount on the Tri-State Bulk Order, an annual event for community members to place orders for farm and garden supplies in the winter, and then gather in the spring at centralized sites across MA, CT, and RI to pick up their orders alongside neighbors. This discount is combined with quantity discounts
- 50% off the costs of technical assistance during the Organic Certification process, through our partnership with state organic certifiers
- Connect with us through our members-only e-newsletter
- Access to the engaged online community for the Massachusetts Pollinator Network (MAPN), an initiative with a plan for protecting pollinators and their habitats

Lifetime Membership
Lifetime memberships can be obtained through a $1,000 one-time donation or awarded in exchange for exceptional service to NOFA/Mass. Email [email protected]
The Power of Sustaining Membership
We encourage you to contribute in whatever way makes the most sense for you, with the understanding that recurring or “sustaining” online donations go the furthest in providing consistent, reliable revenue we can count on throughout the year.
Sustaining membership allows you the ability to set automatic monthly payments of $5 or more, so that you can help support NOFA/Mass programming year-round.
To enroll, go to the membership page, select the amount you would like to pay per month, choose ‘monthly‘, and then proceed with payment.

FAQS
I’m already making recurring donations, what do I need to do differently?
If you’ve recently signed up for monthly donations, thank you! If your recurring donation started before 2024, it’s running on a service we no longer use and will be canceled soon. To keep your membership going, re-enroll by clicking the first green button above and selecting the monthly amount of your choice. We’ll cancel your previous recurring donation right away.

What level of membership will I receive with my donation?
All donors will automatically receive a full year’s membership for the 2024 calendar year, with all general member benefits, regardless of donation amount.
When does my new membership start and how long is it good for?
All donations of $10 and up, starting on November 1 each year, will qualify for a full year of membership, valid through the next year. You’ll receive an immediate email receipt, and benefits are available as soon as you enroll or renew.
Can I sign up to pay for Farm / Business Membership in monthly installments?
Yes! The process is a little different: Go to the Individual / Household membership link, select the “Monthly” option, and then $12.50 (or more) as the amount. Write Farm / Business in the “In honor of” section.
What if I want to pay for my membership separate from my planned donations?
It’s easiest for our small staff to upgrade all end-of-year memberships for donors at the same time. If you would like to make additional contributions to NOFA/Mass, we would gratefully accept your gift as a donation at any time throughout the year.
Is there a “best way” to contribute financially to NOFA/Mass?
All contributions go to support our ongoing work to educate and advocate for organic agriculture. Recurring or “sustaining” online donations are especially helpful to us since they provide consistent, reliable revenue throughout the year. But we encourage you to contribute in whatever way makes the most sense for you.
